In As the Shadows Collect Lakya interacts with venerates of the Venerable Risen of Everlasting Fire. The devotees await the rise of the Ember Queen, and adhere to the Way of the Fire to prepare for rebirth by the Phoenix. Once the Ember Queen emerges the risen will be at her side to burn the world clean of all non-believers. I won’t get into much detail about how, where or when Lakya interacts with them – or why – because you’ll discover all that in the book.
I did, however, want to design the acolytes with an online AI graphic bot so that I could really imagine how they looked while writing about them. (Yes, yes. I know. I’m an AI-image-generator addict). If you draw, design, or create an image of the Risen then post it below. I’d love to see it.
